Our eleventh Birthday Celebrartions 6th -8th March

If you want to come for the whole weekend you may still be lucky but don’t hesitate to ring Barbara on: 01422 843222. If you want to come planting for the day you will find us at Steanor Bottom Walsden. from 10.30 Saturday and Sunday. The site is just inside Calderdale on the boarder with Lancashire. You will see people perched on the hillside and lots of tree guards indicting trees already planted. Travelling towards Littleborough you will see the Bird ‘ith Hand pub on the right. Just past here there is a turning on the right by Steanor Bottom Toll House which is a distinctive hexagonal shaped building. The lane is closed to through traffic due to subsidence but you can turn in and park there. Do come by public transport if you can. The 590 Halifax to Rochdale bus stops near by and if you are coming by train we do pick ups from Walsden Station at 10.50 and 11.50 Saturday and 11.00 and 12.00 on Sunday.
Hot drinks and home made soup with Bear’s famous bread will be served in the barn on site.
